It's quickly coming up to Christmas time again. That wonderful time of year where the family is usually happy to be together and laugh together around a table full of roasted veggies and various animal parts, decadent desserts, presents, baubles and laughter. And you are raw. How will you fit into the mold? How can you feel comfortable with the possible discomfort of your loved ones??

Water: Control What You Are Drinking

Once upon a time our water was clean, loaded with hydrogen, minerals and fresh from running water. Today's standard tap water is acidic, lacking in minerals, hydrogen, and often structured badly. The water molecules from tap water are often too large to be absorbed by our bodies so we can end up dehydrated no matter how much we drink. Town water runs through pipes that are decades old and not always in optimal condition. Not all of us have a good spring water supply or supplier near us so what can we do?
 
We have answered that for you. With a range of water products aimed at giving you the best from your water no matter where you are. We now stock pH test kits for your urine/saliva and water testing kits too. We have products to alkalise your water and to clean your fruit and veggies.

No Cook Spaghetti

Kelp Noodles have hit Raw Pleasure with an almost audible boom. They are one of our most popular products and with good reason. They have an amazing texture when they have been prepared properly, reminiscent of cooked noodles and pasta.

Kitchen Hint:

Mature coconuts make great milk. Remove the flesh from a mature coconut and blend with water. Strain this through a nut milk bag and you have a beautiful milk! This needs to be used straight away though because if left in the fridge it will separate and the cream will rise to the top and solidify. 
 

If this happens don't panic! You can either blend it back into the liquid or this cream can be scooped into smoothies, curries, dips, etc. All sorts of sweet and savoury dishes. 

Don't throw out the coconut pulp! If you line a dehydrator tray with a non stick sheet, spread out this pulp and cover with a mesh sheet (you may want a mesh sheet under the non stick sheet as well) and dehydrate at 105F for a few hours or overnight. Once dried this can be blended or processed into a flour that is wonderful in making cake.
